Oh happy day!

Great news! Verizon is gobbling up Alltel! Why is this great news? The end of the worlds worst advertisements...the Alltel TV commercials! YES! See for yourself.

You raise a very valid point. Humanity is much better off being subjected to the "can you hear me now" guy and his newborn baby for another 8th year in a row. Verizon, it's the network!

Hey, I never said Verizon was good! :) Besides, it's soon to be ATT's world thanks to the new iPhone. *cough*

The truth is, no wireless companies have good commercials. The "can you hear me now?" guy was old in 2002, and it's true that the boys around Chad are pretty annoying, but Chad is darn cute :)

I'm holding out for BlackBerry Bold, myself. I don't need no stinkin' iPhone.

Oh how perfect the new iPhone would be if it also had a slide-out keyboard. Yum.

Seriously, Lis, have you seen the announcement for the additions to the new phone? GPS that really works well, camera, fast network, better size, etc. The only thing keeping me from picking one up on July 11 (and yes, switching carriers) is that there's still only a 16G one available. When they go to 32G, I'm gonna have to do it.

The only thing the Blackberry will do better at that point is having the keypad. The iPhone email client is WAY better, you'll have a bigger screen, and a TON more features. Thanks to Verizon we may never have a working GPS...
